In the beautiful mountainous kingdom of Arendelle, Princesses Anna and Elsa grow up sheltered inside their castle, isolated from the world and increasingly distant from each other. When Elsa is crowned queen, the magical powers she’s desperately tried to conceal from her sister take control, and she flees into the mountains. As a ferocious winter descends on Arendelle, Anna sets off on an epic journey to find Elsa and bring her home – with the help of hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf.

Full of magic, humor, and a stunning musical score, Frozen is a powerful tale of sisterhood, acceptance, and finding the real meaning of true love.

Note: There will be very limited roles for ages under 16+ for Frozen. AUDITION FOR BOTH!

• WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  AGE RANGE:

  • 16+ for Principal roles

  AUDITION SCHEDULE:

  • Be prepared to stay the ENTIRE audition time!

  • Auditions will begin at 6pm.

  • Choreography will taught at approx. 8:15pm - dance audition call immediately following.

  WHAT TO PREPARE:

  • Prepare 16-24 bars (60-90secs) of a Musical theatre song selection of your choice that best shows off your confidence and vocal range with instrumental tracks. 

    • Please send your instrumental audition track (already cut or with time stamps) to jnipe@rockhilltheatre.org by 4pm on the day of your audition. Standard audio formats and YouTube links accepted - NO Spotify links! Accompanist will NOT be provided. 

  • Wear comfortable clothes for an audition dance number and choreography!

  • Auditionees will only need to come to one night of auditions, unless requested to return.

  • Bring a list of any conflicts you may have during the rehearsal process. Aug 13- November 22, 2026

  • Video Submissions must include three items:  a 30 second to 1 min monologue, 16-32 bars (approx. 60-90secs) of a Musical theatre song selection of your choice that best shows off your confidence and vocal range AND the dance combo (instructional video linked further in the audition form).

  • Please fill out the online audition form to submit your video submission.

  • (NOTE: If you are submitting a video audition and CANNOT attend callbacks, this will limit role options for this production)

  • 8/17-9/10: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 6-9pm

  • 9/14-11/5: Monday thru Thursday from 6-9pm

  • 11/7-11/12:  Monday thru Thursday from 6pm until finish

  • Not all actors may be called for every rehearsal

  • Additional rehearsals may be scheduled during weekends/holidays if scheduling allows
